Hi Ascen, I am planning to go to Bali for a Honeymoon trip in February for 10 days. For initial 4 days I am intending to stay in Ubud but I am unclear for the remainder days. Should I stay in Kuta/Seminyak/Canggu or Uluwatu. Initially I was thinking to saty in Uluwatu but it seems to be far from Seminyak or Canggu. I also wanted to stay 1 night at in Nusa Penida. I am not being able to plan. Could you please suggest? Thank you

We actually have a 10-day Bali itinerary that can give you some ideas. Kuta, Seminyak, and Canggu are some of the most popular places to visit in Bali, especially if you like the surf/beach culture. Uluwatu was one of my favorite places to stay in Bali, so it’s worth visiting. You may not have enough time to visit Nusa Penida, but if you have your heart set on it, you can make it work!

Seminyak is ideal for socializing and beach life. There are shops and places to eat, so it’s one of the most convenient places to stay in Bali. 🙂

I would start by looking at the options in this guide. Also, I’m not sure what part of Bali you will be in after the cruise. However, for two couples staying for just 3 days, I recommend making the most of your trip by staying in a villa in Bali.

We are visiting Bali in august for 28 days. Idea is to go to Lombok too and maybe Flores. Starting point will be Changgu. Any tips on a route? We want stay at three, max four locations on Bali.

If you’re staying with kids, I recommend the Bali Dynasty Resort. It has a great kids pool with slides and a kids club. It’s in Kuta and I’m sure your family will have a blast!

Hi Me and my partner really fancy travelling to Bali next year (we are in our 40’s). I work in a school so would have to be in the summer holidays, August. Would you recommend a package deal with a travel company or arranging flights and accommodation ourselves (not really been very adventurous in the past, tended to stick to Europe (we are British). So very nervous about booking something outside of Europe. But I do want to start traveling more now my children are adults.

Hi Ascen, I am planning a trip at the end of Feb. I have fallen in love with the Mundunk Moding Plantation but I am worried about how far away it is from the airport. Also, I was thinking of splitting my week with this resort and a beach resort. Based on where this jungle resort is located, could you recommend a beach resort? Based on location i was thinking Seminyak or Canggu was better than Uluwatu because odf location.

Mundunk Modingg Plantation is by far one of the best places to stay in Bali. It’s in a more remote area but still worth it. Said that, I do recommend combining it with a beach resort. Have you check the Villa Puro Blanco? It’s in Canggu and I want to stay here next time I visit Bali.
