Southern Spain offers one of the best combinations of eclipse duration, weather prospects, accessibility, and infrastructure anywhere along the 2027 eclipse path. Our private location provides more than four minutes of totality, with the Sun approximately 38° above the horizon and favorable historical cloud statistics.
Compared with many locations in North Africa, Spain also offers easier international access, more reliable transportation, high accommodation standards, established tourism infrastructure, and a safer environment for a large international group. Temperatures in the Cádiz region are also less extreme than in many desert locations along the eclipse path.
Our site was carefully selected after in-person scouting based on eclipse geometry, weather patterns, safety, comfort, and photographic potential.
