Therefore, the only way to travel to La Graciosa from Lanzarote is by boat via the port at Caleta de Sebo. Unfortunately, you can’t get to La Graciosa from Tenerife or any other Canary Island.
Rather, you’ll have to take a boat from Órzola to La Graciosa. Órzola is a small town in the northern part of Lanzarote, and all boats and ferries to La Graciosa depart from here.
Moreover, you can take an excursion to La Graciosa from Lanzarote or opt to go on your own. In this article, I’ll provide more details about each option:
Ferries to La Graciosa (prices and schedules)
The most popular way to get to La Graciosa from Lanzarote is by ferry. This is how we got there during our trip, and it was a comfortable and affordable way to go. We booked our round-trip ticket through Direct Ferries, and it couldn’t have been easier.
Líneas Romero and Biosfera Express are the two companies that operate ferries to La Graciosa, and they run every day at various times. This means you’ll have no trouble planning your trip to the island, whether you want to spend the day there or stay overnight. As I’ve already mentioned, the boat departs from the port of Órzola in northern Lanzarote. The trip takes about 25 minutes to travel the four miles between Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
The ferries offer free Wi-Fi and seating on deck or inside. If you’re driving to Órzola, you can park for free at the port’s parking lot. You can also bring a bike onboard the ferry since this is the most popular mode of transport in La Graciosa. You can also rent one there, on La Graciosa, as we did.

La Graciosa ferry prices
The price for the La Graciosa ferry is 28€ per person, round-trip. Children ages 3-11 get a reduced ticket price of 13€.
If you prefer to buy a one-way ticket, the cost is 15€ and 7€, respectively. Residents of the Canary Islands get a 75% discount on tickets.
When buying your ticket, you can add hotel pick-up and transfers to the port of Órzola for an extra charge.
Catamaran trip to La Graciosa from Lanzarote
If you’re short on time, an organized tour to La Graciosa from Lanzarote is a good idea. I recommend this catamaran excursion, which includes your ferry ticket and transfer from your hotel to the port. For me, it’s one of the must-take boat trips in Lanzarote.

You can’t book this type of service online, so if you’re interested, I recommend asking the boat or ferry operators in the port of Órzola once you’re there.
