15 Best Beaches in Corralejo, Fuerteventura + MAP

The beaches of Corralejo are the best in northern Fuerteventura. You will be surprised by the paradisiacal landscapes, the crystal-clear waters, and the fine sand where you can lie down in the sun. These are undoubtedly some of the most beautiful beaches in Fuerteventura, so if you‘re planning your itinerary around the island, I recommend you consider some of the places that I will detail below.

Although the Great Beaches of Corralejo are the most famous, there are other beaches in Corralejo that you can visit. I like the more isolated ones that are away from the city center since I can rest and disconnect. That said, there are also more touristy options that offer services and activities to entertain you while you enjoy the sea.

On the other hand, the Great Dunes of Corralejo are one of the most popular places to visit in Fuerteventura, so one of my favorite plans is to spend the day on the beach, and then watch the sunset from the top of one of them.

In this guide, you’ll find my selection of the 15 best beaches in Corralejo, Fuerteventura. I have included details about each of them, and some extra tips to get the most out of your visit.

1. Playa del Moro, one of the best beaches in Corralejo, Fuerteventura

In addition, one of the best excursions in Fuerteventura takes place here: this buggy tour. I signed up the last time we visited the island, and I thought it was a super fun way to explore the dunes, so I recommend it.

Despite being only 984 feet long, it is often somewhat windy in the summer, creating the perfect conditions for beginner surfers to practice their moves and catch some waves. It is also very close to the highway, so many visitors choose it for its easy access.

For these reasons, it is quite crowded, so if you’re looking for a secluded place to rest, I suggest you go to one of the other beaches on this list.
