Some of the most beautiful lakes in Canada, hot springs, and incredible glaciers are here, so I recommend that you spend at least 3 days in this national park.
Most of the nights, we chose to camp in Jasper, although we also spent some nights in Jasper National Park lodgings.

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is an elegant resort surrounded by nature, right in front of Lake Beauvert. Here, you can book a cabin, a suite or a standard room. Any of these options will be a unique experience.
It has three restaurants where you can taste Italian food, gourmet, or local food, all accompanied by the best wines and beers. Finally, it has a golf course and spa in case you want to treat yourself. It is, without a doubt, one of the best luxury hotels in Jasper National Park.
Pyramid Lake Resort, an accommodation In Jasper with great views
Pyramid Lake Resort is located in front of Pyramid Lake and consists of 62 rooms with different features, such as a microwave, balcony, and fireplace.
There is an outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, and restaurant, as well as numerous walking trails around the hotel. Depending on the season you go, you’ll have the opportunity to go kayaking or ice-skating. Also, it has a private beach.

Mount Robson Inn, a well-located hotel in Jasper, Canada
Mount Robson Inn is a hotel with an unbeatable location, right in Jasper’s center. It has both standard rooms and suites that have a hydro massage bath and fireplace.
Overall, it’s more modest than previous resorts, but still not exactly a cheap hotel in Jasper. However, it is a worthwhile option if you’re looking to stay in downtown Jasper.
Maligne Lodge, a great place to stay in Jasper
Maligne Lodge stands out among the hotels on offer in Jasper. It’s also located in the center of Jasper. Although most of its rooms are basic, it also has rooms with a fireplace and kitchen that can be a good option if you prefer to avoid going to restaurants.

Jasper Inn & Suites, the best accommodation in Jasper for families
If you’re traveling as a family or want to relax, I recommend Jasper Inn & Suites. It has rooms of different categories and suites for families that include a full kitchen.
The hotel has a Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and swimming pool, making it a good option for taking a day off. In its restaurant, you can try traditional food and, if the weather is good, I recommend you eat on its beautiful terrace. It is, without a doubt, one of the best places to stay in Jasper.
Jasper Downtown Hostel, one of the cheapest hotels in Jasper
Jasper Downtown Hostel is the best accommodation option if you are looking for cheap hostels in Jasper. It’s located in the center of Jasper, very close to the shopping and restaurant area.
It has both private rooms with bathroom and shared bedrooms with separation curtains to have some privacy. It has a full kitchen, laundry room, and even a living room. It is certainly the best place to stay in Jasper for solo travelers wanting to meet other young people exploring the Rocky Mountains.
Icefields Parkway, Great Lodging in Jasper National Park
The Icefields Parkway links Jasper National Park to Banff National Park and is one of the most beautiful scenic roads I have ever driven.
Although there are plenty of amazing things to do in Banff, the road itself has many attractions and places worth stopping at on the Icefields Parkway, so I recommend staying at least a day halfway between Jasper and Banff.
In this other article, I tell you where to stay in Banff in the Icefields Parkway area, so in this post, I will only talk about the accommodations on the Icefields Parkway that are located within Jasper National Park.
Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge, one of the best hotels in Jasper
We stayed at Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge for one night and we loved the hotel. We had a fireplace in the room and it was only a 5-minute walk to the stunning Sunwapta Falls. This is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay in Jasper.
We also really liked the board at reception with a Rocky Mountain map where each visitor can put colored pins to indicate which animal he or she saw, how many days ago it was, and at what exact point on the map it was seen. A good way to know where to go to see the fauna of the Canadian Rockies. Also, breakfast was delicious, making it an accommodation in Jasper that I recommend.
HI-Atabhasca Falls, cheap accommodation in Jasper
HI-Hostels are a very popular choice of accommodation in the Canadian Rockies for travelers looking for affordable options to stay in Jasper.
On the Icefields Parkway, there are three of these hostels, with the HI-Atabhasca Falls being the one in the Jasper area. This hostel has both private family rooms and shared rooms. Being in the middle of nature, it doesn’t have showers, but it does have a kitchen with all the necessities, a living room where you can meet other travelers and play board games, and an area to make bonfires.
Pocahontas and east entrance. A good option to stay in Jasper
If you’re arriving at the national park from Edmonton, Pocahontas is your best accommodation option in Jasper. This town is known for being very close to the Miette Hot Springs and for being more remote than the center of Jasper, so if you want to unplug, it’s a good option for staying in Jasper National Park.
Overlander Mountain Lodge, a good option for where to stay in Jasper
Overlander Mountain Lodge is very close to the east entrance to Jasper National Park. It has beautiful views from all the rooms. Some of them have a fireplace.
Inside the hotel is the Stone Peak restaurant, where they serve delicious breakfasts and dinners. In addition, in the bar, there is a large fireplace to sit around and chat.
Pocahontas Cabins, beautiful cabins to stay in Jasper
The Pocahontas Cabins are wooden cabins half an hour from the town of Jasper and very close to the Miette Hot Springs, so they are quite touristy.
All rooms have a gas fireplace and kitchen. In addition, the accommodation has a swimming pool and a mini-golf course, making it a good option to stay in Jasper with kids.
Jasper East Cabins, another option for where to stay in Jasper
Jasper East Cabins, located next to the east entrance to Jasper, is another good option if you haven’t booked accommodation and there’s nothing left inside the park.
Valemount and west entrance. Cheap accommodation in Jasper
If you come to Jasper from the west, Valemount is the best option for where to stay. In addition, in this area, you can find cheap hotels of good quality. Keep in mind that Valemount is not in Alberta, the territory where Jasper National Park is located; it’s in British Columbia.
To get from Valemount to the town of Jasper will only take you an hour and a half, so this accommodation option is only recommended if you haven’t booked in advance and can’t find a good accommodation in Jasper National Park.
