My experience flying over Iceland

We have photographed this island countless times, but our¬†helicopter rides over Iceland¬†opened up a whole new world of possibilities for us. Time flew by, and we enjoyed every second of it, so I can tell you that it’s worth every penny.

Besides, we were able to see the beautiful Icelandic landscape in a way that would be impossible on foot. Looking at the island from an aerial perspective is an indescribable experience. Even when we passed by sights we had seen several times before, we were blown away by the unique viewpoint.

My experience flying over Iceland

I suggest booking your tour towards the start of your trip. We had initially booked ours for our first day in Iceland, but the weather conditions were bad, and we had to postpone until our last day. We were lucky that the weather cleared up and we could take this breathtaking tour!

Another thing we appreciated was our knowledgeable pilot. Not only did he make us feel safe, but he was an amazing resource of information about the Icelandic landscapes we were flying above.

I’ll admit that a¬†helicopter ride in Iceland¬†is an expensive activity, but it has been one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. When you’re flying high above the glaciers and over volcanic craters, you’re immersed in the moment, and any worries are far away.

That’s everything I have to say about this one-of-a-kind excursion. Our¬†Iceland helicopter tour¬†was everything we dreamed it’d be, and I’d love for you to experience it. If you have any questions, leave them in a comment below, and I’ll be happy to help. Have a fun flight!
