When the heat becomes too much, consider cooling off at a Las Vegas waterpark. Sin City and the surrounding areas have some great aqua parks and activities that will help you beat the heat!

I’m going to share some awesome aquatic parks in Las Vegas, from hotel waterparks to public pools. So, whether you’re looking for a lazy river, a relaxing pool, or a wild and crazy waterslide, I’ve got you covered.

1. Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas, the best water park in Las Vegas, NV

Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas is a fun water park in Las Vegas, about 20 minutes from the Strip. It has something for everyone, whether you’re visiting with friends, as a couple, or with kids.

First, Wet’n’Wild has some of the best waterslides in Las Vegas, like the twin racing slides. There is also an adrenaline-pumping “tornado” slide that simulates the feeling of being caught in a tornado.

Other aquatic attractions include a lazy river, a half-pipe waterslide, a wave pool, and a 300-gallon tipping bucket that drenches visitors. There is also a children’s area with age-appropriate slides and kiddie pools.

You can enjoy a full day here since the park includes a cafe, beer garden, and a retail shop in case you forget your sunscreen.

Zoom down a glow-in-the-dark slide, drop 73 feet down the speed slide, and race your friends down the multi-lane racer slide. If you’d rather chill in the sun, Cowabunga Bay has cabana rentals available. Also, the park heats the pool during the low season (March, April, May, and September), which is a nice touch.

When you get hungry, grab a bite at the bar, grill, or snack bar. This aqua park in Las Vegas also hosts special events, so it’s a great place for all ages.

You’ll quickly see that this isn’t a typical waterpark. Here, you can rent a paddleboard or kayak and book an electric boat or yacht cruise. You can even try your hand at flyboarding (water propulsion).

That said, the most popular area is the Lake Las Vegas floating obstacle course. This aqua park includes floating platforms, swings, inflatable slides, climbing walls, competitive games, and more. It’s open for seasonal events, or you can book a private session with your friends.

Each participant gets a life vest and free reign of the course, so they can challenge each other or test their abilities. If you have the opportunity to visit this inflatable waterpark in Las Vegas, I highly recommend it!

This is the closest you can get to visiting the beach in Vegas since there’s an area of the waterpark with real sand. You can also swim in four separate pools, a 1.6 million-gallon wave pool, or the lazy river. There are kid-friendly lagoon pools, too.

The waterpark is open seasonally from March to October and has heated water when the weather gets chilly. You can buy swim-related items at the retail shop and enjoy food and drinks at the cafe and bar. There are also cabanas and bungalow rentals available, although they can be pricey.
