If you want to tie the knot in Sin City, then one of the most important decisions will be choosing a Las Vegas wedding chapel.
About 120,000 couples get married in Vegas every year. And why not? The city is surrounded by majestic mountains, the scenic Nevada desert, and beautiful state and national parks. Moreover, there are over 50 Las Vegas wedding chapels on the Strip and downtown. So, no matter how lavish or simple you want your Las Vegas wedding to be, you can find the perfect venue!

1. Graceland Chapel, the first Elvis wedding chapel in Las Vegas
Graceland Chapel is world-famous as the first chapel to do Elvis-themed ceremonies. The iconic chapel not only does Elvis weddings in Las Vegas, but traditional ceremonies, vow renewals, and weddings in the Grand Canyon and Valley of Fire, too.
Getting hitched at the first Elvis wedding chapel in Las Vegas is a special experience and lots of fun. Graceland offers several wedding packages, but they all include fresh or silk flowers, limousine service, photos, and video recording (pictures and video are sold separately). Elvis will walk the bride down the aisle and sing a few of his hit songs at the ceremony, too.
The traditional wedding packages don’t include an appearance from the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, but they come with digital photos. You can even stream the ceremony over Facebook, so friends and family can witness your special day. You can even find discount marriage packages and Elvis weddings for as low as $200.
Remember that you’ll have to pay a $60 officiant fee and any tips you’d like to give to the photographer and limo driver. Still, it’s an affordable way to tie the knot, and you’ll be getting married where several celebrities have said “I do,” including Jon Bon Jovi.
2. Little Vegas Wedding Chapel, an all-inclusive Las Vegas wedding venue
The Little Vegas Wedding Chapel is the best place to get married in the Downtown Arts District. This company has two beautiful venues, the classic Archway Chapel, and the modern Imperial Chapel. In addition to traditional ceremonies and vow renewals, this is one of the best wedding chapels in Las Vegas for pretend weddings and last-minute specials.
It’s also nice that the Little Vegas Chapel has wedding coordinators who can help you organize the perfect Las Vegas wedding package for your I do’s. They’ll help with just about everything: floral arrangements, hair, makeup, catering, photography, and gown and tuxedo rentals.
You can also do an Elvis wedding ceremony with Elvis as your officiant. He’ll walk the bride down the aisle and serenade the newlyweds with hits like “Hawaiian Wedding Song” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
Whichever package you choose, you’ll get the full support of the Little Vegas Chapel team. The staff is incredible, from the meticulous wedding coordinators to the skilled photographers and the professional Elvis impersonators.

How to have a legally binding Las Vegas wedding
Fake weddings are fun, but if you want to make it official with a real Las Vegas wedding, you’ll need to prepare a bit in advance:
- Bring the proper identification with you to Vegas. You’ll need a valid, government-issued photo ID like a driver’s license, passport, or resident alien card. U.S. citizens should also provide their social security number.
- Apply for a Las Vegas marriage license online within 90 days of your wedding date.
- Pay the $102 fee.
- Bring your documents to the Marriage License Bureau in Las Vegas:
Clark County Marriage License Bureau
201 E. Clark Avenue
Las Vegas, NV 89101
- Once you get your marriage license, bring it with you to the chapel. The minister/officiant will sign your marriage license, and after the ceremony, they will send the official marriage certificate to the County Marriage License Bureau. To get a copy of your marriage certificate, simply request one from the bureau office.
