We took an opportunity to do some of the best activities outside Las Vegas, staying at RV resorts around Vegas and visiting beautiful nearby natural areas. We found that taking a motorhome to some of the state and national parks near Las Vegas is one of the best ways to take advantage of your time in the desert.

An RV will grant you the freedom to travel at your own pace, but you should also know that RV parking in Las Vegas isn’t always easy. Don’t worry because, in this guide, I’ll share the best RV parks in Las Vegas and some helpful tips.

Besides the beautiful views and tranquility, you’ll have access to a general store, horseshoe pits, a library, and picnic/grilling areas. The resort’s Clubhouse hosts community events each month like karaoke, games, and movie nights, too.

Not only is Thousand Trails kid-friendly, but it’s also pet-friendly and has a dog park. On-site restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are also available to all visitors. Interestingly, not only does Thousand Trails offer RV camping in Las Vegas, but you can also rent one of the on-site cabins.

LVM Resort is just a few minutes from the Strip, and it’s protected by 24-hour security so you can relax in total comfort and peace. This motorhome community is super cozy, but when you want to head to the Strip, you’re not far at all.
