Sin City looks amazing from the ground, but it’s absolutely stunning when you can see the Las Vegas skyline from above. Vegas is full of hotels, bars, restaurants, and attractions with beautiful panoramas and sweeping views. So, you have plenty of options when it comes to capturing the perfect image of the Strip!

Best of all, most viewpoints in Las Vegas offer other perks besides lovely views. For example, some of them are top-tier restaurants, while others are part of a larger Vegas attraction. To find the best views of Las Vegas, check out the 10 places you shouldn’t miss in this article. I’ll also share a map of all the places I mentioned where you’ll get great aerial views of Las Vegas.

1. Eiffel Tower, the most romantic place to see the Las Vegas skyline

Las Vegas’ Eiffel Tower viewing deck at Paris Hotel is the first place to check out for beautiful panoramas. While it pales in comparison to the real Eiffel Tower, it’s a nice alternative if you can’t get to France.

The Eiffel Tower observation deck in Las Vegas is 460 feet tall and offers 360° views. The fun begins at the base of the tower when you step into the glass elevator and ascend 46 stories to the top. From up there, you’ll see the entire Strip and notable landmarks like the High Roller observation wheel, another viewpoint I’ll mention later.

1. Eiffel Tower, the most romantic place to see the Las Vegas skyline

Finally, I recommend the Eiffel Tower for date night, especially since Paris Hotel is one of the best resorts in Las Vegas for couples. You can watch the Bellagio Fountains from the viewing deck, then enjoy a delicious French meal at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. The structure also has a free light show every 30 minutes from sunset to midnight.

2. Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay, one of the trendiest viewpoints in Las Vegas, NV

The Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay’s House of Blues is another great place to see the Las Vegas cityscape. It’s on the hotel’s 63rd floor, so it’s a prime location for sunset views and one of the most popular rooftops in Las Vegas.

Besides being an awesome lookout spot, the Foundation Room is an elegant lounge. What could be better than enjoying views of the Las Vegas Strip skyline while sipping a hand-crafted cocktail?

Up here, you can get uninterrupted views of the Paris Eiffel Tower, the High Roller, and the Nevada mountains in the distance. Plus, it’s at Mandalay Bay, a kid-friendly hotel in Las Vegas with amazing pools, shows, and rooms.

3. High Roller, the best views of Las Vegas’ LINQ Promenade

Another place to get stunning views of Las Vegas Strip is the High Roller. We have a complete guide to the High Roller, but I’ll tell you now that it’s the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, after the Dubai Eye. At 550 feet tall, it looms over the LINQ Hotel & Casino, granting you panoramic views of the LINQ Promenade and beyond.

3. High Roller, the best views of Las Vegas’ LINQ Promenade

Each cabin on the High Roller can accommodate about 40 people, so everyone has a chance to see the views from up here. That said, you’ll get the best views of Vegas at night or if you go just before sunset.

4. STRAT Observation Deck, the perfect place for free views of Las Vegas, Nevada

This list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the STRAT Observation Deck. Located at the famous STRAT Hotel, this 1,149-foot landmark is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the U.S.

While the STRAT isn’t the only Las Vegas hotel with panoramic views, its SkyPod is one-of-a-kind. The observation platforms are on the 108th and 109th floors, and you can sightsee from inside or on the outdoor balcony. Also, there is a lounge on the floor beneath the observation decks where you can enjoy drinks and snacks.

If those 360° views aren’t enough and you feel especially daring, go to the top of the SkyPod. There, you’ll find extreme rides like a freefall and a bungee jump, among others. Of course, the observation deck alone is a wonderful thing to do in Las Vegas at night!

5. Helicopter Tour, the most amazing aerial views of Las Vegas

If you’re visiting Sin City for a special occasion, or you want to splurge, consider a helicopter tour over the Strip. Hands down, this is the best way to get a bird’s eye view of Las Vegas.

We’ve written about the top Las Vegas helicopter tours, and while they all soar over the Strip, some also fly over the Grand Canyon. Either way, it’s an unforgettable experience and one that’s perfect for an anniversary or proposal.

5. Helicopter Tour, the most amazing aerial views of Las Vegas

You can find flights during the day, but I recommend an evening heli-tour to get the best views of Las Vegas at night. This is when the entire boulevard is glittering in bright, neon lights, so it’s quite special. From the helicopter, you can see the LINQ Promenade, watch the Bellagio Fountains, and point out the hotel you’re staying at!

6. Top of the World Restaurant at Stratosphere, the best nighttime viewpoint in Vegas

While I 100% recommend the STRAT‘s observation deck, you may also enjoy dining at the hotel’s Top of the World Restaurant. This upscale steakhouse isn’t your run-of-the-mill restaurant. It’s located in the STRAT’s SkyPod, 844 feet in the air, and it revolves 360° every 80 minutes.

You truly will feel on top of the world when you dine here, plus you’ll get to indulge! The international menu includes things like Maine Lobster, Ginger Salmon, Stuffed Poblanos, and signature cocktails. Without a doubt, it’s the best restaurant with views of Las Vegas.

As you can imagine, dining here is a lovely couple’s thing to do in Las Vegas, and the restaurant even does proposal packages. Alternatively, you could check out 107 SkyLounge on the SkyPod’s 107th floor, which also offers beautiful views of Las Vegas Valley.

7. VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub at Rio Las Vegas, the nicest panoramic views of Vegas

VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub at Rio Hotel is a beautiful place to see the Las Vegas skyline at night. This lively club is a great place to socialize, plus it has a fun party vibe with drinks and dancing. It’s one of the best nightclubs in Las Vegas.

VooDoo is known for its flamboyant bartenders and its expansive views of the Strip. Since it’s on the hotel’s 51st floor, you can see the entire boulevard from the outdoor terrace. There is also an indoor area and an award-winning steakhouse one floor below.

If VooDoo is too crowded, you can check out the SkyBar and Skyfall Lounge, two other cool rooftop bars in Las Vegas. The SkyBar at Waldorf Astoria is on the 23rd floor, while Skyfall Lounge at Delano Resort is on the 64th floor and offers 180° views of the Vegas Strip.

8. The Cosmopolitan, the hotel with the best views of Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan has some of the best hotel views in Las Vegas, so it’s a must-see while you’re in Sin City. The best part is that there are multiple views from the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, so you can get stunning views whether or not you’re a guest.

First, the resort’s Marquee Nightclub is one of the most popular clubs in the city, and it has a rooftop terrace where you can see the lights of the Strip.

Finally, the hotel has a pool deck overlooking the Strip, and it’s open to guests and non-guests. The pool is a win-win because you can lounge and cool off while admiring the sweeping panoramas.

9. FlyLINQ Zipline, the most fun way to get aerial views of Las Vegas

The FlyLINQ Zipline is the most adventurous way to get views of the Las Vegas Strip. It’s the Strip’s only zipline and a popular attraction at the LINQ Promenade.

9. FlyLINQ Zipline, the most fun way to get aerial views of Las Vegas

Riders take off from the 12th-floor platform, 122 feet above the ground. The entire length of the zipline is 1,121 feet, and you’ll reach a max speed of 35 mph as you soar towards the High Roller. FlyLINQ is one of the best things to do in Las Vegas with kids, and there are multiple zip lines so you can experience the thrill with friends.

As you feel the wind in your hair, you’ll experience a birds-eye view of Vegas that you can’t get anywhere else. See the Brooklyn Bowl, the shops, restaurants, and other attractions on the Promenade. Beyond that, you can see the rest of the Strip and city and the mountains in the distance. Without a doubt, these are the best views in Las Vegas and well worth the initial fear!

10. Red Rock Canyon, the best viewpoint near Las Vegas

If you’re up for leaving the Strip, one of your first stops should be Red Rock Canyon. This state park is known for its gorgeous red sandstone formations, hiking trails, and viewpoints. So, there is no better place to get mountain views in Las Vegas!
